What can i say? I hope you had fun and you survived the hangover. :-) O.k., some serious comments. I think the discrepancies in the group where bad for the book. The first day we talked about the idea it seemed to be clear and worth a try. You might have had made some more strict decisions about how to document the night and then stick to them until end. It would have helped you to produce material which in itself explains the change from being sober to being drunk. If i wouldn't know your story, i would have thought that you were faking to be drunk from the beginning until the end.
The scientific-like-rules would have helped you to make the contrast clear in between a clean and organized procedure and the chaotic and uncontrolled state of a drunk.
... and which makes the book totally chaotic, is the re-interpretation part of the party night. Personally, i do not think that it is necessary to include this part, but if you want to, explain us at least visually that this is a different part. Use a different paper, a different format, a different size, a different ink or even a different book.
... or did you know all this and you only did it this way so you could repeat the project?
